Kids communicate differently than adults do, which is why therapy for kids looks different from adult therapy. Because children's language skills are still developing, they don't yet have the words to fully explain themselves or express their feelings. They often communicate their needs through actions, and in therapy, they share much of their stories through play, art, and movement.

I spend the majority of my time with kids on the floor, in the sand, playing, dancing, singing, creating art, and moving around.
