I have yet to meet a parent who describes parenting as easy. Much as each adult we meet is different, each child comes with a unique personality and an individual set of needs, struggles, and strengths. Parenting brings up triggers from old wounds, trauma, and feelings about our own childhood experiences. Parents often feel nervous to bring their children to therapy and fear that they are “bad” parents or that there is something “wrong” with their children if they meet with a therapist.

Having worked with hundreds of families, I say with certainty that parents do the best that they know how to do, and that every parent makes mistakes and has questions along the way. I am here to listen without judgment or criticism. I work with parents who have personally experienced trauma and parents of kids who have experienced trauma. I also work with parents who have not encountered a specific trauma, but who are looking for a safe place to seek guidance and create positive change in their families.
